San Ignacio & the Cayo District

San Ignacio is cradled in a picturesque valley and hugs the Macal and Mopan rivers. The macal and Mopan rivers converge to form the Belize River at an area named Branch Mouth. You can saddle up for adventure along many trails in the Cayo District. Paths will lead you to waterfalls, Maya ruins, caves and jungle. Riding to remote areas, where you can camp overnight, can also be arranged.
