Belmopan and its surrounding area

Most of Belize's government business is conducted in Belmopan, Belize's capital. In the heart of Belmopan is the stately Prime Minister's office. 12 miles south of Belmopan off the Hummingbird Highway lies the Blue Hole National Park and St. Herman's Cave. Take a cool dip in the 25-foot-deep pool of sparkling sapphire water located in a rain forest. Don't miss the Guanacaste National Park just outside Belmopan.
